Pecunia

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Privacy by design

1. Data Controller

Pecunia is operated by Antonio Martínez Manzano, based in Spain.

For any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact info.pecunia.app@gmail.com.

2. Personal Data

Pecunia does not require users to register and does not request names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or other identifying information.

The developer does not collect, receive, or store any financial information entered into the app.

3. Local Storage

Transactions, categories, budgets, and other information created in Pecunia are stored locally on the user's device.

This information remains under the user's control and is not sent to servers operated by the developer.

4. iCloud Synchronization

Pecunia uses iCloud to synchronize information across devices linked to the user's Apple Account.

Synchronization is available when iCloud is enabled for Pecunia in the user's device settings. The user can disable it through the iCloud settings on their iPhone or other Apple devices.

Synchronized data is stored within the user's iCloud environment. Antonio Martínez Manzano cannot access the content stored or synchronized through iCloud.

Apple's technical processing of this data is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policies.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Pecunia does not use analytics tools, advertising services, tracking systems, user profiling, or third-party crash reporting tools.

6. Device Permissions

Pecunia does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, calendar, photos, or any other special device permissions.

7. In-App Purchase

Pecunia offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks all premium features.

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive or store payment information such as credit card numbers or banking details.

Apple may provide the app with technical information required to verify that the purchase was completed successfully, without disclosing the user's payment details to the developer.

8. Data Deletion

Users can delete data stored locally by uninstalling Pecunia from their device.

Uninstalling the app may not automatically remove copies synchronized through iCloud. To delete those copies as well, the user must manage Pecunia's iCloud data through their Apple Account settings.

Because the developer cannot access data stored on the user's device or in iCloud, the developer cannot delete this data on the user's behalf.

9. Children

Pecunia is intended for a general audience. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or any other users.

10. Security

Because Pecunia does not use developer-operated servers or user accounts, the developer does not maintain databases containing users' personal or financial data.

The security of the device and the user's iCloud account depends, among other factors, on the security settings chosen by the user and the safeguards provided by Apple.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in Pecunia's functionality or applicable legal requirements. The date of the latest update will be shown at the top of this page.
